Which one should you pick?
- You want the real room and crowd: a swap tool such as Genjutsu. It edits the actual shot, so it looks closest to the versions that went viral. Budget for 3–5 takes.
- You want one clip with no effort: a one-photo generator. You pay more per video and get a fixed routine.
- You want a different setting or a pet: image-to-video with your own prompt. See the prompts page.
- You are replacing several people: avoid single-character motion tools. Kling Motion Control follows only the largest figure in the frame.
The models behind the tools
- Higgsfield Genjutsu swaps characters, outfits, locations and objects in a clip while keeping the motion and camera. It launched in early September 2026.
- Seedance 2.5 is the reference-to-video model named by most one-photo templates.
- Kling Motion Control transfers one person's movement onto a new subject.
- Depth Anything V2 is the depth-estimation model used in the advanced depth-map route described in the tutorial.
What to check before you pay
- Is the sample clip made from a customer photo? At least one site says its demo is an illustration and that likeness may vary.
- Do failed renders get refunded? Some sites return the credits; check before buying.
- Subscription or one-time? One-time packs suit a single trend video. Some tools show subscription offers first.
- Does the file include audio? If not, you add the sound in the app.
- Resolution and orientation. 480p vertical and HD landscape are both sold as “the video”.
